Fanatics Live, in collaboration with Fanatics Collectibles, has unveiled an exciting new initiative called ‘The Ten’. This program is designed to showcase and reward the discovery of the top 10 sports cards in the market. Inspired by popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ offers collectors the chance to win $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit by pulling one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app.
Each month, ‘The Ten’ will feature a dynamic selection of cards chosen for their popularity and rarity. Among the first cards to be featured are the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.
The inaugural list includes a mix of legendary athletes and rising stars from various sports. Fanatics Live participants can expect to see names like Tom Brady, Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, Corbin Carroll, Anthony Volpe, and Chet Holmgren. The cards showcased will come from renowned brands such as Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.
James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience and giving back to collectors and the hobby. ‘The Ten’ aims to foster community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.
In addition to rewarding collectors, ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. It provides dealers and collectors alike an opportunity to showcase these cards and generates excitement and discussion within the community.
Fanatics Live has big plans for ‘The Ten’, including featuring pack and box breaks and special shows that celebrate major discoveries and announce upcoming cards. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding to the overall narrative of the program.
What sets ‘The Ten’ apart from other similar initiatives is its emphasis on storytelling. The program focuses on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, offering a unique and engaging aspect to the hobby. Guest athletes may also make appearances, further adding to the excitement and exclusivity surrounding ‘The Ten’.
Since its debut, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an impressive average watch time of 56 minutes. This highlights the platform’s emergence as a community-focused space where collectors can connect and discuss their shared passion. James Kollar is excited about the potential impact ‘The Ten’ will have on the Fanatics brand and the collector community as a whole.
With ‘The Ten’, Fanatics Live and Fanatics Collectibles have created a program that rewards collectors for their dedication and provides a platform to showcase the rarest sports cards in the market. By engaging the community and offering exciting prizes, ‘The Ten’ is sure to invigorate the collecting experience and generate even more excitement within the hobby.
