INDYCAR and Parkside Cards Team Up for Exciting New Trading Card Series

As the 2024 INDYCAR season approaches, fans are in for a treat as the open-wheel racing circuit has partnered with Parkside Cards to launch a brand-new series of trading cards. This exciting collaboration, set to debut on March 1, promises to bring fans closer to the action by offering a variety of collectibles, contests, and giveaways, enhancing the overall race weekend experience.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be accessible to fans at race events, in retail stores, and online. In addition to the trading cards themselves, the company has planned various initiatives to engage fans. One highlight includes redemption cards for signed memorabilia, giving fans the opportunity to win autographed items from their favorite drivers. Another exciting contest offers a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500, allowing one lucky fan to witness the thrilling race firsthand.

Parkside Cards, known for their collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding their portfolio with this exciting motorsport partnership. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, available for $88.99 plus shipping, contain 20 packs with eight cards each, ensuring two autographed cards in every box. For those who prefer retail hanger packs, there are 25 cards per pack, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

What sets this trading card series apart is the inclusion of relic cards, which contain actual pieces of bricks from the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. These tangible pieces of racing history will undoubtedly add a unique element to fans’ collections. The base set of the INDYCAR Collection consists of 162 cards, accompanied by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set. Other thematic inserts include Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT, offering fans a wide range of cards to collect. The series also features autographs from 27 different drivers, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels that enhance the collectibility of the cards.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the significance of trading cards as a means for fans to connect with their favorite sport’s stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR card series will provide fans with a dynamic and interactive way to engage with the personalities and talents within the world of INDYCAR racing.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes are already underway, with the racing season set to kick off in St. Petersburg, FL, on March 10. This collaboration between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards marks an exciting development for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike. It promises a fresh and interactive way to celebrate the thrill of INDYCAR racing while offering fans the opportunity to collect unique memorabilia and connect with their favorite drivers. So get ready to rev up your engines, because the INDYCAR trading card series is about to take the checkered flag and capture the hearts of fans everywhere.
