Fanatics Collect Unveils New Buy Now Marketplace

Fanatics Collect has just announced the launch of its new Buy Now marketplace, bringing forth a wave of excitement for sellers looking to maximize their earnings. The innovative platform offers a revamped fee structure aimed at simplifying the selling process and ensuring sellers receive a greater share of their proceeds.

One of the standout features of this new fee structure is the introduction of a 6% fee for listings sold for less than $120, setting a new standard with one of the lowest rates in the industry. This revision effectively replaces the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees, providing sellers with a more profitable selling environment.

With this new fee system in place, sellers will now earn the same amount on sales of $120 or more as they did previously. Notably, sellers can now expect to earn up to 94% of the listing price for sales under $119.99, a significant increase compared to the previous maximum of 85%. This adjustment is intended to immediately benefit sellers, with all existing listings seamlessly transitioning to the new fee structure without requiring any price alterations.

The redesigned Buy Now marketplace aims to enhance the discoverability of cards, streamline listing processes, and simplify fee calculations, all based on valuable input from collectors and sellers. By removing the 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission, sellers are encouraged to create listings with more competitive pricing, enriching the selection and quality available to buyers.

In order to maintain a fair and competitive marketplace, listings that are priced more than 20% above fair market value will incur a 15% seller’s fee instead of the standard 6%. Furthermore, the previous $3 minimum fee for Buy Now sales has been eliminated, enabling sellers to list items for as little as 50 cents, opening up opportunities for lower-priced listings.

Enhancing the efficiency of transactions, the new Buy Now marketplace ensures that when collectors make purchases through the Fanatics Collect app, payments are made promptly, allowing sellers to receive their earnings faster and buyers to promptly expand their collections.

For sellers who may prefer not to operate under the new fee structure, the option to delist items is always available. Support is readily accessible through sales representatives or the Collector Experience team for any assistance needed during the transition.

The introduction of the Buy Now marketplace marks a significant milestone in the Fanatics Collect launch, with a focus on elevating the experience for all collectors involved in buying and selling. Dive into the new marketplace today and leverage the simplified fee structure to amplify your earnings on every sale!
