Upper Deck Welcomes Hockey Prodigy Michael Misa

Upper Deck, renowned for its sports collectibles, has made a significant announcement regarding its collaboration with the promising hockey talent, Michael Misa. The exclusive multi-year agreement solidifies Misa’s status as a rising star in junior hockey and the highly anticipated top pick for the 2025 NHL Draft. At just 15 years old, Misa was granted “Exceptional Status” for the 2022-23 season in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), making him the sixth player in league history to receive this prestigious designation. Now 17, Misa has already garnered accolades such as the OHL Rookie of the Year award and the esteemed Emms Family Award.

Jason Masherah, the President of Upper Deck, expressed his excitement about the partnership with Misa, emphasizing the company’s eagerness to produce and distribute a unique collection of memorabilia and trading cards dedicated to the young hockey prodigy. The collection is designed to provide fans with innovative ways to celebrate Misa’s burgeoning career, with offerings in both tangible and digital formats.

Fans can expect an exclusive memorabilia collection featuring autographed game-used pucks from Misa’s team, the Saginaw Spirit, prints of his #77 jersey, and signed jerseys commemorating key moments from his early career. In addition, Upper Deck has introduced three Game Dated Moments trading cards on UpperDeckEpack.com, honoring milestones such as Misa’s #1 pick status in the 2022 OHL Priority Draft, his first goal, and his Rookie of the Year triumph. To entice collectors, the first 25 individuals to complete the set will receive an autographed version of Misa’s Rookie of the Year award card. This special offer will be available for purchase until February 22.

Misa shared his enthusiasm about joining Upper Deck’s roster of esteemed athletes, which includes hockey icons like Wayne Gretzky and Connor McDavid. He underscored the significance of this partnership in fulfilling childhood aspirations and connecting with fans through his journey.
