Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets: Autographs, Prospects, and Inserts Galore

Leaf Trading Cards has baseball card enthusiasts buzzing with excitement over their two upcoming releases filled with prospect autographs and exclusive inserts that are sure to delight collectors of all ages.

Leaf Metal, scheduled to hit the market this Friday, October 25th, offers two formats: Hobby and Jumbo Boxes. The Hobby Box contains a total of seven cards, including four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and one exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box comprises 14 cards, featuring an impressive eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a unique “pulsar auto” only found in Jumbo Boxes, and a coveted “slabbed auto proof.” Each autograph and base parallel card in Leaf Metal is limited to just 35 copies or fewer.

With a standout card like the triple autograph featuring the top three picks from the 2024 MLB Draft – Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns, Leaf Metal promises an exciting chase for collectors. The set also includes autographs from notable draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin, not forgetting Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony, featured in the “91 Leaf” insert set, a nostalgic nod to a classic Leaf series. Other top prospects like Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo, alongside potential future draftees such as Ethan Holliday, make this release a must-have. Rookies and recent grads like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood complete the impressive lineup.

Leaf Press Pass Premium, set to release on November 8th, promises high-quality cards in premium boxes containing six base cards and parallels, with a whopping five autographs. An autograph per box is limited to only 25 copies or fewer, adding an element of exclusivity to the collection. Including a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, each with eight parallels numbered to 35 or fewer, this series will feature autographs from 2024 draftees and future prospects like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns. Fans can also expect appearances from veteran stars like Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan in this premium assortment.

The autographs in the base set are limited to 199 copies or fewer, while retro base autographs are even scarcer, capped at 49 copies or fewer. Leaf Press Pass Premium also features a unique “Press Box Signatures” insert highlighting iconic figures such as John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s website and at major card retailers. Collectors can anticipate a diverse range of talent in these sets, from promising rookies to established veterans, making them a valuable and distinct addition to any card collection.
